What Else?

One of the problems with classifying my artwork is that it can’t be pigeon-holed.  When asked what kind of art I make, it’s nearly impossible to describe its scope.  It is painting, sculpture, murals, inflatables, light forms, prints, and more.  It is acrylic and oil, pastel, bronze, glass, concrete, wood and a whole lot of mixed media in between.  While I honor those that I have studied with and the many fellow artists with whom I have argued with, cajoled and admired, my work is an anomaly.  Its uniqueness and variety allow it to be easily recognized.  However, it also makes it difficult for critics, curators and the public to sometimes understand or categorize.  I allow these pieces to speak for themselves.
