Frank Hyder’s Janis Project made its way to the breathtaking landscapes of Machu Picchu, Peru, blending art with the rich cultural and historical backdrop of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The project features “Janis,” a larger-than-life illuminated inflatable sculpture, whose expressions and diversity symbolize global unity and identity. Against the majestic Andes and the ancient ruins of the Incan civilization, the vibrant and reflective presence of Janis created a striking dialogue between contemporary art and timeless heritage. This installation was a poignant reminder of humanity’s interconnectedness and the importance of preserving cultural treasures.
