Celebrating MICA”s (Maryland Institute College of Art) Then / Now, a group exhibition featuring works of the undergraduate program alumni from the past 160 years. Curated by Barry Nemett, Chair of the Painting Department, there were two simultaneous exhibitions: Ethan Cohen Fine Arts in Chelsea, New York City and at the Kunsthalle Beacon (KuBe) in Beacon, NY. I had pieces in both venues, including three 30 ft. inflatable sculptures, a site-specific grouping from my Frontier Series and a brand new carved wood painting made in the spirit of the moment.
