“The Frontier” Catalina Hotel, December, 2012

“The Frontier”  A site-specific installation at the Catalina Hotel shown during Art Basel Miami 2012.  A combination of prints and paint on Mylar measuring 7 x 20 feet.  Installed on the windows of the stairwell and upstairs lobby, the works created a sense of immersion into a jungle.  At night outside lighting turned the works into a stained glass effect due to the translucency of the Mylar.  Also on display were a selection of paintings and 3-D luminaries of faces and human forms.
