The Janis Project’s next stop was Philadelphia’s PAFA on Broad Street. Multiple sculptures were on display outside in the Lenfest Plaza and inside the Academy Museum from September 27-29. On September 28th at 6 pm a few more will be on display during PAFA’s After Dark lecture, which will featured a talk about this and other projects.

Chicago’s Loop Alliance has invited all the inflatables from The Janis Project to be part of this year’s Activate. Look for them at the Hyatt Centric and the Kimpton Gray Hotels and other sites on Monroe Street Thursday, September 15th.

Cornell Art Museum in Delray Beach, Florida, presents a group exhibition featuring artists working with light. A wide range of my luminaries were presented. Exhibition runs April 28 – August 28, 2016.

These painting by Frank Hyder were accepted into the permanent collection of the Michener Art Museum in Doylestown donated from the estate of Robert Chamberlain in December of 2015.

A short video as tribute to the day of terror in Paris 2015. Features a 3D luminary from the Caviar Series and part of the sound track from the 1812 Overture. The luminary is equipped with a sound activated sensor that controls the lighting mechanism.
